Just my opinion.

This particular surf spot is called "Ghost Tree". It's near Pebble Beach. I've seen numerous picks of this particular spot and it's real just like the pic on this thread. I know it's hard to believe. And yes, people have died there. Just Google "ghost tree surf spot pictures".

I don't dispute the size or voracity of the wave, just that there is someone sitting there waiting to be killed by it. I just don't buy it. Suicide is difficult to record on "film."

I wonder if Clark Little has any clue how controversial his photos are???

I lived two blocks from the Wedge for twenty years and we were in it before anybody ever thought of being in it.
That picture is stacked. The bather is looking up at a Tsunami and that wouldn't happen in reality. The face of the wave has lost curvature. On and on.
They arn't photographs. They're illustrations.

Lets move on to the picture below the now dead idiot who was watching his life come to an end in the shore break. The water color is...how would you describe it...orange. Yeah...orange. That's real...huh. Look at the muy poor work of adding an unreal curvatious cap to the wave....the smooth to agitated seam across the face.
Are you buying that one too?
If so, I've got some hundred dollar bills with Alfred E. Newman's picture on them I'll let you have for a bargain.
