"...according to several sources familiar with Woods behavior during his frequent trips to Las Vegas...
...several prominent Las Vegas-based nightclub managers say that although Woods had women he had a relationship with, there were definitely others. He wasnt one to send away someone who was interested. There was a revolving door of women with Tiger, said one. I can think of half a dozen off the top of my head. But if you want his business and you do you make sure its kept as discreet as possible.... ...there were always rumors of women in the community that hed taken up with, said the source. You just never believed it because it seemed insane that hed risk everything he has to sleep with women who were basically in his backyard. And with Tiger, you just didnt want to believe it, either...." ![]() |

Mindy Lawton, Tiger Woods' Alleged Mistress: Tiger Is 'Very Well Endowed'
"...quite the lover. He is "very well endowed" and "knows his way around the bedroom. On a scale of ten I would give him 12," she tells News of the World. Lawton's sister, Lynn, adds that Mindy described their sex as "extremely good."... ...a particular passion for the color red..."...my red panties with black lace. He had a thing about red and said he always wore it on Sunday as that was his mother's favourite colour."..." ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Letterman jokes about Woods
![]() ![]() By JAKE COYLE, AP Entertainment Writer Monday, December 7, 2009 at 10:05 p.m. NEW YORK David Letterman, after a week off, dived right into material about Tiger Woods on the "Late Show" on Monday, joking that he wishes the golfer would stop calling him to ask for advice. Even though the CBS late night host is only weeks removed from his own scandal, he kicked off his monologue with the subject of Woods, who has been hounded by claims from several women that they had affairs with him "Boy, it looks like that Tiger Woods is having some trouble, huh?" began Letterman, puffing his cheeks out. He joked that if Woods' situation had happened three months ago, he'd "have material for a year." He still got plenty of mileage out of it Monday, on his first new show after a week of repeats. "President Obama is sending troops to Afghanistan," Letterman said. "Hell, he ought to be sending them to Tiger Woods' house." Woods, the world's No.1 golfer, crashed his luxury SUV outside his Florida mansion on Thanksgiving weekend, and his wife told police she used a golf club to smash its back windows to help him out. The Florida Highway Patrol cited Woods for careless driving and fined him $164. The accident and Woods' refusal to answer questions about it fueled speculation about a possible dispute between the golfer and his wife. Just days before the crash, a National Enquirer story alleged Woods had been seeing a New York nightclub hostess, who denied it. After the crash, Us Weekly reported that a Los Angeles cocktail waitress claims she had an affair with Woods. Last week, Woods issued a statement saying he had let his family down with unspecified "transgressions" that he regrets with "all of my heart." In October, Letterman admitted to workplace affairs that police say led to a blackmail plot. CBS News producer Robert J. "Joe" Halderman has pleaded not guilty to trying to extort $2 million from Letterman to keep some of the comedian's sexual affairs quiet. Letterman later returned Monday to what he called "the Tiger Woods debacle." He tried to poll the audience members on their support, apparently thinking more would support Woods (whom he called "the greatest athlete in the world") than would support him. He asked them to clap if they thought Woods was a "jerk." He then, referring to his "own personal problems," asked them to clap if they thought he was a jerk. Some clapped for each. Letterman also presented a Top 10 list on how Woods might improve his image, with Tom Hanks making a cameo to react to each entry. No. 1 was "Blame Letterman." Regular viewers of the "Late Show" might not be surprised Letterman would joke about Woods. He has frequently referred to his scandal since it erupted in October. Before that, he often joked about others caught in infidelities, including South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford, former Florida Rep. Mark Foley and former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer. Tiger to speak publicly for first time since crash - Golf- nbcsports.msnbc.com
"...Woods will not take any questions from a small group of media. This is not a press conference,... ...It will be Woods first public appearance since Nov. 27, when he crashed his SUV into a tree...There was strict control over the appearance... ...a small group of friends, colleagues and close associates, who will listen to Woods apologize as he talks about the past and what he plans to do next...three wire services have been invited The Associated Press, Reuters and Bloomberg and he asked the Golf Writers Association of America to recommend pool reporters. Only one camera will be in the room to provide live coverage via satellite. Steinberg said other writers with proper credentials could watch from a hotel ballroom more than a mile away. The first time out, hes better controlling it, fellow player Padraig Harrington said from the Match Play Championship in Arizona. Over time, there will be questions..." ![]() "...Hes got to come out at some point, Irish golfer Rory McIlroy said..."...Im sick of hearing about it..."..." This is a fascinating theme to me. A professional entertainer whose life's blood comes from the attention he receives wanting to limit that attention to only that which was previously-profitable for his employers. Why not go in a different direction and pen sex advice for Cosmopolitan? |

From the public point of view, what was Tiger except for being a great golfer? Nada. So, what he just needs to do is get back on the course. That should eventually put this behind him. The Letterman situation is a bit different, in that his job is to entertain through comedy. And comedy knows almost no bounds. Letterman, should he choose to, can continue to milk his own situation and that of others, until people stop laughing; if that ever happens. Woods, on the other hand just needs to get back on tour.

Check out Kobe Bryant. In his case, there was the additional issue of alleged lack of consent. Today, he's been MVP and sells gear like crazy.
So, if Tiger wins a couple of tourneys, he'll be golden, once again. The public loves preternaturally skilled athletes and has a short attention span. |

I agree. But more than just tournaments he needs to win majors for the focus to swing back. If 2010 goes by without at least one more major win under his belt the talk will probably get even more hostile. Jack's record seems to be what matters most to those following Tiger's golf game in the media.
Most analysts seem to think he needs to win at least two this year to stay on track... |

The golf gods who monitor this kind of stuff seem to think 2010 is an important year for Tiger as all 4 courses where the majors will be played this year are favorites of Tiger - courses where he has dominated. The courses scheduled for the next couple of years not so much. Nicklaus even thought Tiger would be foolish to miss playing in the majors this year.
Did anybody see/hear the "Tiger Statement" this morning? We get KFI-AM 640 out of LA clear as a bell down here and I did tune in. Wasn't able to see the facial expressions but just hearing what he had to say and the total expression of guilt/sorrow made me feel that maybe he might have a chance now if he can win a major or two this year. Time (and birdies) will tell... |

I said it on the other forum and I will say it again. If Mrs. Woods forgives him and takes him back, the general public will too. Guys get off easier than the girls in these matters.
