My saltillos have the prints also, I kind of think the prints are fake, there aren't any claw marks, at least on mine. But the tiles sure are pretty. too bad they are such a pain to seal and coat a couple of times a year.

Don't you know about the de-clawed coyotes, RP? People are trapping them, getting them de-clawed, and releasing them back into their native habitats. (This activity is known as "catch and release.") The purpose is to protect local cats and small dogs from attack, when they go out on romps.

It's QUITE the controversy in Baja -- has animal rights activists fur-ious. Meanwhile, the defenseless coyotes have to pay for protection the only way they can -- by stamping out tiles at ceramics factories.

Damned had me going there for a minute LOL. The way animals are treated in Mexico I would not doubt it. I hate it when I see all the stray animals

Just took another look at the photos Keith and I am really impressed with your home. Couple of questions come to mind...

1. Will you be living in the home full time or part time?

2. Are you on a land lease or did you set up a bank trust?

3. And the most important question of all...

We are still waiting for you to tell us about this picture????

Default Home complete

Well the house wa complete August 15th. I will finish the fence, landscaping, and upper level next year. I have a bank trust, and will just go down on weekends and on vacations until I retire in 2012. Sorry Baja it will do you no good to try and visit me so you can meet the ladies in the photo. They are not my next door neighbors. A friend of mine owns a bar in Mexicali and they had a lingerie party so I took a couple of photos. But we could go to the bar and you could meet them there. Here are some photos of house.
Take care
Keith

Wow Keith, the place is really looking great! You could at least invite the young ladies over for a housewarming party.

We'll all bring the "atmosphere"...

Seriously though - a well deserved congratulations!

How exciting Keith. Your house is beautious and it's feng is shuiing- it's spacious, light filled, very inviting and has a great vibe. What a view out those windows too, and what a spot to watch the weather. Love the garage and front doors and the iron work and looks like excellent quality construction. Congratulations.

A very beautiful home with a magnificent setting. I've enjoyed seeing the progression a great deal. I wish you many happy years in retirement up there on top of the world.
