I am wondering if now that you are finished you could share you final per square foot building cost with us all? Stripping out the price the land of course.

The final cost per square foot will come to about $62 a square foot. The second level was cheaper to build. All of the foundation and support was a cost of the lower level. That includes all of the upgrades in the interior. Base without upgrades was about $59 a square foot. Are you interested in buying a lot here? I can get you a super deal right now. Not just where I am at. I have gained some good contacts. Even have a good real estate attorney. Let me know.

I'd say you did quite well with the finished product I see from your pictures...

Well un poco mas fotos de mi casa en Ensenada. The general contractor took these photos as I am unable to walk for another 2 weeks. Finally a doctor has found the problem with my foot and this will end it all. Good thing, 16 months and I will be retired in Ensenada. Yippppeeee. These pics are of the upper level. The roof will be on in ten more days. Hopefully in two weeks I will be able to get down and take some pics of my own. Also I still think and pray for Ron and his wife. I know we all do.

Beautiful. Those beams will look awesome when the roof is on! I can't imagine the view from up there.

No - I was referring to Dennis...

I saw Dennis when I was up a few days ago. Saw him in Patty's Place at breakfast. He was on his way out and did not get a chance to talk much with him. I did not know Dennis was that famous but I will invite him too. Wow think about it. The ladies, Tiger, Baja Gringo, Dennis and me. What a party.
