When we finally make it down your way I promise to make the Cadillac's if you guys let us share and enjoy a few of these gorgeous sunsets...

You're on ... speaking for myself, of course.
This is the cue for Legs to post the unobstructed view of the same sunset!

And from the outskirts of El Centenario....where the sun sets just a little bit later!

I gotta tell ya, it's a darn good thing that TurboTax understood my brief absence from the keyboard & decided to give me a good refund anyway! That's my excuse for this late submission...and I'm stickin' to it! Hold your horses Kate, I had a date with a guy named Sam who was old enough to be my Uncle! I know how to prioritize!!

BG....and here I thought we HAVE BEEN SHARING them with you....with absolutely no alcoholic enticement!!!

You ladies are driving me crazy with these awesome shots! I think I am going to play hookey and spend the weekend in La Mision. I'll try and take some pics that can compete with these beauties. The colors are unreal!

I really do appreciate you all sharing them with us online, but you and I both know there is no comparison to viewing them in person. The Cadillac is just to help wash down the delicious BBQ I know will be going on in the background...

These pics don't have nearly the color of last nights, but if we keep sharing with BG, he'll come to La Paz & mix us Cadillac margaritas while he BBQ's for us! (And it better NOT be fresh roadkill, BG!!)

Well Legz, some of us still have to work! Mrs. Dra. Bajabass has decreed a full on assault on our mission to vaminos rapido! I'll be there soon to help tend bar!

I don't know Legz. With the (increased) price of gas and the long drive down, I figure I will be broke and too tired to do much more work than stirring Cadillacs but I will certainly give you all my moral support!

Well, shucks!! And here I was going to put you up in the LUXURY SUITE!! It comes complete with clean sheets, hot & noisy running dogs & is situated adjacent to the conure cage, just across your own private patio across from the equipment room & bug zapper & a short walk to the pool!! I figured it's the least I could do after you missed out on the skylite job!

Maybe Dra & Mr. bajabass could swing by & pick you up on their way down....if Dra bajabass is putting the heat on getting down here muy rapido....you'd better check your driveway....she'll be the lovely lady in the burgundy Honda! You'd better hurry! She doesn't let any grass grow under her feet!

I guess that means that Kate & I better keep an eye out for fresh roadkill, huh?

I can say that Dad is on a bus to drop off more paperwork pertaining to employment for someone in La Paz. I already have 3 jobs in La Paz! Fisherman, poolboy, and now, bartender. This was supposed to be retirement!!

Yeah, but what's the pay scale & benefit package on your 3 potential jobs, Mr. Dra. bass?

I think we have Rosario safely tucked away in a hotel Legz. I think he may have his eye on the rich gringa with the mansion! He sure did not hesitate to go on the spur of the moment! Ulterior motives at work?

No! No! Sorry I wasn't clear....I meant the room will be occupied by a solo Dra! Sorry, but I've heard about Rosario's romantic exploits....if he were to stay here, I'd be locking my bedroom door AND making 2 dogs, 1 cat & the damn bird sleep in my bed as deterrents!

That's OK Legz. We'll take the master suite but you can take your favorite pillow for the couch.

Tonight's sunset brought to you in all it's varying colors thanks to my donation of blood....since I ended up with mosquito bites on BOTH sides of my neck taking these to share with you!!

Try my home remedy:

Mix some Avon "Skin So Soft" bath oil with some isopropyl alcohol at about a 50/50 mix. Keeps the mosquitoes off me all summer long when I am down in Mexico.
