Default Re: 2010 - Mexico's Bicentennial - "Esto es Mexico" Videos...

I really love these videos because they are so well produced. They sincerely stir a fiery emotional connection with Mexico for me. At the same time I am honestly saddened because of what has happened to Mexico. I pray that someday that the true beauty of Mexico can return to normal. God hear my prayer!

Confused Re: 2010 - Mexico's Bicentennial - "Esto es Mexico" Videos...

No one can dispute the art involved here. Each video is a thing of beauty. But, it does strike me as being a bit too much art for arts' sake. I have to wonder if these videos will really be able to result in a significant increase in tourism. Free margaritas seem to work better.

I don't get the feeling that they are produced to spur tourism. They are produced by Televisa for Mexican based television. I really think they are just produced as a celebration of the Mexican bicentennial for Mexico.

I just wanted to share them with you who are not regular viewers of Mexican TV...
