Hi everyone, I just got off the telephone with Ron and he told me to tell everyone that he has been off Talk Baja for so long because his internet dish is down. He says someone is coming to fix it and as soon as he can he will be back on-line. I was happy to hear his voice because I was getting ready to have my friend at the San Quintin Federal Police office go do a welfare check on him. All is well. Whew!

Maybe he had to send off to China or Thailand for a dish repairman....

OK, OK, OK... I'm back.

Had a lot of laughs reading through the posts and feel bad that I made any of you worry. It was really just a perfect storm kind of series of events. I cut my hands pretty bad on some glass, my crew knocked the internet dish off the roof while trying to put my wind turbine pole up and I had to go north for a close friend who was ill and subsequently passed away.

So now my hands are pretty much healed, internet is back up and I have over 2000 emails sitting in my inbox. Let me do some catching up and we'll pick up where we left off.

Thanks for all the concern and especially David for making the call yesterday.

Well thank GAWD....nary a 1 of your 2,000 messages are from ME! I envisioned you on an operating table (or was that a morgue table?) in the USA & didn't bother trashing your in-box. I'm more of a "public speaker"....I grounded you publicly!

Sorry to hear about your losing your friend! For that reason alone, I'll stop raking you over the coals for being AWOL....THIS TIME! Next time, do ya think you might be able to please raise your hand, ask nicely & wait to be excused? Okay, I'm done yelling....WELCOME BACK! Your prolonged absence was duly noted & fraught with gruesome possible scenarios!!

But it is nice to know you are missed...

Thanks for the kind thoughts. He had been dealing with a recurring health issue for the last year but had been making great progress of late and most of us had gotten our hopes up. Destiny had a different plan and now I pray his wife and kids find acceptance and peace.

Each day is important, you're likely to make the most of them if you clothe yourself in substantial protective garb when handling glass!
