I'm not BG, but....there are 6 categories....there's a drop-down box on the left for category. BG's project is in the last....medio ambiente....click on that category & you can scroll through all the individual causes in that category. I'm guessing but I'd say that all 20 grants would be spread to all categories, but if I guessed wrong, BG'll just sic the dogs on me....bite-free card or not!

In THEORY, you should be able to page forward to view the results, but like you, I got blank pages last night after 2-3 page advances.

Based on my experience (site was requiriing much more info from me), I'm guessing that the voting works easily for those with Mx IP addresses, but not (or not so easily) for others. Makes sense: Site asks where you are from and obviously assumes you live in Mx. I'll try harder -- for YOU, BG. However, (a) I suspect that it's "cheating," and if it works, all I can say is that whoever is giving away $ to the winners is pretty naive.

The voting is not the deciding factor, only a factor to help them sort through which ones they will narrow it down to choose. If we don't make it up to near the top we have little chance of being seen in so many projects...

If the number 47,049 Iniciativas in the upper right corner is accurate, I'd say that's how many total....I scrolled 25+ pages in the media ambiente category & the highest number I came across was 90....the majority have ZERO! But the speed this site moves didn't entice me to look for the end of the medio ambiente category!

Intuition tells me that abalones are in the lead! Currently at 261 's

Msterieus, the site is equally contrary to those of us well south of the border!!

Yeah, the web site is really SLOW. I hope this is not what I have to look forward to when I use the internet in Mx!

I think there are so many initiatives and so many trying to vote it is getting overwhelmed. It will speed up after the intial surge...

Well crap! After FINALLY getting to your project, I clicked "dar un corazon" (or whatever) 5+ times. Each time, web page renewed, but total vote # did not change. I left page and returned: no change in total.

Went back to my sign-in page. It shows "me laten" 5 corazones. So why didn't the total vote # change???

Well, MAYBE it worked, because count was 276, and now it is 283. But maybe someone else voted the count up (?)

MAN BG: This is a lot of WORK! So what are you going to reward ME with for my efforts?

Well, it says my hearts belong to abalone, also. And vote numbers are up further.

Maybe the site just has a delayed reaction

Nuts - how's about FIVE Cadillacs, one for each vote???

Msterieus, If BG shares one with you for the first one, then I'd guess it'd look good for getting all five.

Hey BG, I dont know if you can read Spanish but you are getting alot of good feedback in the comments section. I am also really excited about your project. My dream is for San Quintin to be it's own municipality, not Ensenada's. The thing that has held this up is that some say San Quintin is not self-sufficient. I know Reyes was involved in the municipality for San Quintin movement, any idea how that's going? I was about half a klick from your estate all weekend at Don Alvaro's. I was told that you were out of town by one of Alvaro's boys, so I just did a quick drive-by and saw no movement. I'll be down again in August.

I have been super busy and been in and out for several days including driving over a thousand miles in two days and managing to get in three different meetings in the process. This has been draining but it really is an inspiring project.

I have been literate in Spanish for almost 40 years. There are some very comments and they are really appreciated indeed. I am passing them along to Reyes. It would be nice to see the municipality movement here take hold and I suspect with the recent change in direction of Baja politics that Reyes will be a major player.

Looks like I am going to have to buy some tequila by the case...
