That was a rather-auspicious move there; intercepting them for a nice holiday on the coast. Well done!

Yah, Shari on Nomad I believe used the term "ass-napping" (for getting the burro, Mike and solo)!

I saw the photos and videos Shari posted. Looks like they are having a great time and getting a well needed rest over the holidays. They couldn´t have been assnapped by better folks...

The word from Doug (BajaNomad) who is on vacation in Bahia Asuncion, is Mike and company will begin the next phase of their walk to Cabo in the morning (Dec. 29).

Mike covered about 10 miles today (if he took the road through San Hipolito)... He is now 20 miles from La Bocana.

Maybe after all the partying, attention and excitement at Juan and Shari's place Mike just wants to enjoy bringing in the New Year with some peace and quiet...

Maybe, but Baja Blanca is ready for him to party it up in La Bocana! However, he would need to break his daily distance record to get there today... It being 20-21 miles from his camp site last night. If Blanca saw my note to her before Nomad went off line, she may go find him a few miles from La Bocana tonight?

He probably stopped short to dry out from all the partying in Asuncion!! And quite possibly the rain if they got drenched today! Walking in the rain is one thing....a forced march in wet boots is another!
