These came off of Nomad somewhere; might've been this page with a link given.

More Photos of Mulege Flood

Here's a link to a bunch of photos taken by Martin Miranda (he took a lot of those early photos from Hurricane John). Lots from around the Jungla, but also from around town and also from under the bridge, where the little overpass at the river was wiped out.

Oh, shoot, I thought you might be talking really high pilings to build houses on...

One thing is for sure - we all know now that patch and clan won't be staying in any rentals on stilts in Mulege.

Just trying to get this thread back on track...

Damn it's beautiful out today! Oh, to not be at work and spending time with my family.
BUT! Lining up OT to pay for our trip........3 days here....3 days there....I can taste the beach and smell the heat in the air coming my way......the sound of that fresh cold one popping.....and that first taste on my lips after a run in the heat. I'm ready to roll.

Was this ever off track? Isn't baja about the path unkown?

Well; I can think of only one instance where a bit of deviation from a more {ahem} structured environment would not be desirable:

When you want to look up something that was said, but it has nothing to do with the thread title.

I look at it as kind of an impromptu short/long-term memory test. That, and of our Search function.

Please note that the photos that Marty posted were from Hurricane John. I do believe that with Jimena, the water actually got to bridge level.
