Thanks Ron,
I have Directv here in BoLA and have to use a 1.2 meter dish to get the HD channels. The reason I was asking you about yours is because I usually stay at Posada Don Diegos when I drive back and forth from San Diego. I installed a Directv starndard definition dish there at Don Diegos so I could hook up my dvr and record a program if I happened to be traveling on a day when there was something I wanted on the tube. I thought about installing a HD dish there if the normal size dish would work. If a larger dish is necessary then it would not be worth the expense.

You can see via the attached photo the two dishes they installed and their size.

Wow! I just realized now after looking at the photo how different the house now looks. Need to post some updates...
