Dear FishTaco - even though you might take lessons, my recommendation to you is to watch nothing but Mexican/Hispanic TV and listen to the radio only in Spanish. The most important way to learn any language is to become accustomed to the TEMPO.
At first, Spanish seems to be extremely fast and difficult to understand. But. once you get the rhythm in your hear, it becomes easier to understand. And, you will be amazed at how many Spanish words you recognize as they're close to the same English ones. Good luck and don't get discouraged here. The people are very helpful and I've yet to run into a jerk. |
