Does anyone have any updates on this? Have repairs begun? Is traffic being re-routed along the old 'free road' to Ensenada? Are there detour signs up?

They are "repairing" the toll road at the scene of the collapse......reminds one of the Einstein quote regarding insanity.....Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Have repairs begun?
Yes, see above. The road slid in the same place about 20 years ago and it was rebuilt, now they are doing again..

Yes, it adds about 20 minutes +/- to the trip, depending on the time of day and the traffic.

Are there detour signs up?
Yes, at LaMision, diverting southbound traffic to the free road, and northbound just before the toll booths at San Miguel

Actually, they aren't just repairing the toll road to return it to its previous condition. The construction includes a stronger support system underground and large conduits for better water drainage below the road. Water erosion was determined to be a significant factor in the collapse according to "experts" quoted in a televised report several weeks back...
