Happy Dia del Pavo to all of my friends here on the forum. Wishing you and your families/friends a wonderful day. As usual I am late for shopping and forgot to pick up Butterball when in San Diego a few days ago. I think I will just head outside to see if I can bag one of those Baja Turkeys I see flying overhead here all the time...

Well...ok, now it's two days after Thanksgiving. ... but Happy Thanksgiving everyone!. Our deadline to pack and get out of our house is fast approaching, so we only paused a bit to heat up a prepared turkey dinner, gave thanks that we'll soon be south of the border , then back to packing again

aw, well, our turkey dinner didn't go as planned.

Family was not feeling well on Thursday, so we decided to wait until Friday to make the dinner.

It only took twice as long as planned, and I forgot any kind of vegetable! Planned on home-canned corn or beans..........forgot everything!

Aw, Well...when it's only 2 adults and a youngster......a 10# turkey with 15 cups of stuffing, roasted garlic mashed potatoes and gravy.....enough is enough! But I figure I can slide on the veggies because of the amount of onion, celery, and garlic I put into the stuffing.

We are thankful and blessed!

And thankful to be enjoying the leftovers. And sending good wishes to the BigWooo family in the midst of their packing adventure!

Happy Late Thanksgiving, everybody!

I couldn't be more thankful at the moment. One of our gutter drains blocked and I was able to blow it through with a garden hose.

Had that not popped, it would have been 5-6' of concrete demo, about 20' of iceplant on a 45-degree slope, then another 20' of good old-fashioned dirt diggin', plus all the replacements.

Luckiest. Plumbing. Break. EVAH!
