Social Bookmarks

For those of you that use social bookmarking, we have just added that element to the forum. At the bottom of each thread you will find a bookmark section where you can click on one of the links to bookmark that thread. Currently we only have:

1. Digg
2. StumbleUpon
3. Google
4. Twitter

I just sent the Dia del Reyes 2010 thread to my twitter stream. Why don't you try it and tell us what other bookmarks you would like to see added...

Social bookmarking is a way to share something with others by providing a quick link to it. I have added bookmarks for MySpace, Facebook, Wordpress, Blogger Post, Hotmail and others. If you see a bookmark for a service you use or are just curious, click on one of the bookmark icons to see how simple it is...

Guess I'm just old and probably in the way, but where does the line need to be drawn when it comes to seemingly constant connectivity? How much of what passes through the various forms represents not just need, but relevancy? Seems to me that with the assistance of the various phone and internet providers, we've become a society that cannot sit in a quiet room and read a book, or better yet, contemplate one's navel.
