Hey all, love my golf here. I found a great course near where my wife and I are looking at purchasing property. Las Villas de Mexico has a beautiful Jack Nicklaus designed golf course. Only seen pictures, can't wait to get down there to play.

Makes me wish I could retire tomorrow! I had a friend that raved about the location and checked out their site, they have alot of good ammenities. One thing I thought was cool was their Open Door policy, you have the opportunity to stay in any of their 22 locations accross Mexico since their properties are pretty standard design. I haven't ever heard of any resorts doing this, have you?

Yes, in today's slow market they are offering you everything but free golf lessons from Tiger Woods (I think a couple are trying) and all the more reason to shop around for your best deal / fit.

Looks like I got an in without buying property.. any golfers in the forum? This site looks great and definitely cheaper than what I am used to paying (obviously in the states though). I found that it was rather humerous that the dress code was nicer in Mexico than in the states (Some courses in Socal allow shorts. lol)

Is this course up to par with the others round the area? Only been around once but didn't get to golf much.

I'd kinda like to play there when I make it down that way. Haven't played it yet. Don't know if I could hack the dress code.

Are they open to the public, or do you have to know somebody/be their guest?

Heard greens fees in Cabo are pretty steep generally; maybe you mean compared to Bel-Air.

Not that bad off-season it looks like.
