Default Plexiglass in Rosarito?

I would like to construct a plexiglass "wall" between the neighbor's 3 1/2' fence and mine. They have a dog than can jump the fence and come over and EAT my cats! I do not want to obstruct our views and want to cut a "pass through" for conversations and beers.

So I am looking for 4' x 6' +/- sheets that I can frame and install between our fences. I know there are glass panels people use for wind breaks, but is there plastic large enough to do the job with out having to cross the border?

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Plexi won't stay clear for long outside. It's really delicate. The sun will make it dry and brittle. Better off using quarter inch, or thicker, plate glass.

BG: I think I speak enough Spanish to get by - construction terms are a bit harder, though. I will check with them next time I'm in town. His website has acrylic - maybe that is the answer.

DENNIS: My biggest problem is the pass through area. I don't think you can hinge glass to make an opening to pass stuff through for Beers, pot lucks, and converations, yet lock it so the dog dosen't have furry snacks at my house. The area I need to protect is only 12' long.

More research..........

Man, what a nice guy you are... not sure how I would be with my neighbors dogs jumping into my yard to eat my: cats, food, and anything else left unattended..

Is there some reason, that the neighbor does not see this and puts a leash on his dogs..

When they are not under his direct control?

just a thought, I have had excellent results with a "stun guns", dogs, and just about any living thing will "listen up" when they hear the "zap" on activation..

You might find it very effective training tool.. I have.. a few of the dogs around here came at me.. but, left fast too.. and never came back at me again..

Not sure of the price difference, but it might be worth the cost, if it doesn't work on the dogs.. you can always use it on your neighbor

Wessongroup: We are very friendly with neighbors. They watch our place for us as we are not there full time, YET, still trying to sell the house is N. California. Our cats have only been down to visit their new home twice and no outside roaming is allowed until they are full time residents and the snack protector is up.

Our ocean view back yards connect only for about 12' on one side. Their dogs run loose in their yard so it is up to me to protect my own. They are willing to split costs. It is more a matter of what will work to maintain views, friendships, people access, dog barrier, cat saver.

Back to the drawing board..........

Understood... but, the stun gun, would not harm them... only a "sound" which really gets an animals attention.. it might work

It is a very effective training tool, without harm to an animal...

I wish you luck, sounds like the glass may be answer to your particular situation given your circumstances.. we have dogs, and cats

Great info on their site and perfect timing as well, we were going to put up wrought iron but will be calling these people for pricing. We both much prefer this and will keep our cats in our yard as well... Thanks
