Reuters - President Barack Obama on Saturday blamed the massive Gulf of Mexico oil spill on "a breakdown of responsibility" at energy giant BP Plc as he officially unveiled a commission to investigate the disaster.

yeah, think the "break" occurred about 5,000 ft below sea level...

The rest is normal.. Saw where we are getting a new agency... (more employment for folks by the government.... but, wait... thought we were broke.. spending more money... how do you do that if your broke.. I'm confused....

More agency's to inspect offshore oil rigs.... you mean it's that hard to do... being a "rough neck"... looked like it wasn't too bad if you weren't drunk on the job, knew a spud wrench from a generator.... and could stay out of the way of heavy machinery .... your personal life is yours.. good or bad...

Really hate to see this kind of cheap shots over a screw up by perhaps one crew.... don't think you can mess up on rigs like these too many times, without really big problems .. their work is very dangerous.. that's why one should not be doing anything but watching his or her ass big time on a '"job site like one of these"

Few lack moments.. loss of focus for just second can and does have tragic results..

Perhaps the President and all the others should review the Regulatory Compliance records of: Transportation, Environmental and Worker Safety, on all "dangerous professions" in the United States...

It might be a very positive experience for many....... and would help all in very many ways...
