I am feeling soooo guilty! I obviously crashed this party! Several have said, "Thanks for the invite," others have said "Thanks for the invitation!" And now BajaBrit says Ron "BEGGED" him to join. Me, I just snuck in UNINVITED & started posting pictures like mad! Ron, I'm guessing that the burro carrying my engraved invitation must have stopped to eat alongside Hwy. 101, probably got sucked into the roadway by the slipstream from a speeding semi....or you might check the stable & see if he snuck back in & is in there munching hay!

As for me, invited, begged or not....yer stuck with me....until or unless I run afoul of the hoard of moderators here....and I'm trying really hard to not get drunk & dance on the top of your table to ensure that doesn't happen!!

I actually have only personally invited a couple to join here. Others here may have received invites to join but they were probably from other forum members. I am a member on BajaBrit's forum and I did invite him to join.

I would have invited Doug from BajaNomad to join but he beat me to it and joined before I could extend him an invitation. Those who know me well can tell you that I have no competitive interest in this. I only want to provide a good forum site where most come away with a positive experience. You know that you can't please all the people all of the time, as much as I would like to...

Your invitation was at the printers and before I could get it in the mail you were already on your 20th post...

About 8 years ago when I first moved to Ensenada a sweet young neighbor knocked on my door and told me there was a party two blocks away and did I want to go with her.

I said I did not know the people and had not been invited. She said she did not know them either and had not been invited but they had not told her she could not come.

So we went -- ate , drank and BSed and never knew who any of the people were.

Kind of like here.

No invitation needed.

I hope you at least had the courtesy to marry her!
