About 7:45 AM I heard a kind of tentative plaintive little cry....like he was talking softly just in case that other dog was still hanging around HIS yard. He was skittish on coming inside until he decided it was just his sisters & Mom who were boisterously greeting him from inside the screen. He accepted a bowl of milk to renew his white color, ate a few kibbles, did a perimeter check to make sure there are no unwanted "intruders" lurking anywhere inside or out!!

Not surprisingly, he's lost a few pounds, but other than a small area on one back foot where he's missing a little fur, he doesn't appear to be injured. The little blighter almost looks like he coulda spent the past 11 days at a "fat farm & spa" taking off a little weight & getting pampered!

The past couple of days, all of the "missing", Peter, Melissa, Mat & Bing have surfaced!

I'm sooooooooo glad. A couple of your neighbors came home last night.....we were over there for a few minutes and I spent some time looking for him...had not given up.
Takes them a while to figure out where the Palo Verde is greener, I guess. But most of the do come home.

Ah ha, Dusty! Maybe hearing "strange voices" calling his name herded him in the direction of the "safety" of his own home! Those M & R neighbors?

Marty, you can tell Lionel his cousin is no longer on the missing list. He's chasing his sisters around overjoyed to be back with them wrapping his paws around their necks & biting their ears & throats! He's mewing non-stop to everyone. But so far he's refused to tell us where he was shacked up!

Yes...and very happy to be home. Bing's timing was excellent, your neighbors will be resuming their long morning walk with their dogs...those dogs, while great with other dogs ( send Gracie for dog-sitting once in awhile) don't care much for cats even though the owners do.

Dusty, you're being politer than I'd be.....those dogs EAT cats & don't even spit out the fur!!! Their return might have a lot to do with Bing's return to his sanctuary! He's already had one run-in with them.

As for Mr. Bing, he's his only disclosure has been a hoarse "mew, mew, meow, mew, meow, mew, mew, meow!"....over & over & over & he's apparently sticking to that story! He's saying the same thing in his sleep, so it musta been quite terrifying "out there"....wherever "out there" was! He doesn't smell like he's been with any floozies & he's walking okay!

Guess your going to have to be a little more sensitive to the guy... mom seems to have gotten him a little upset...

But, seems he has forgiven you...

Lito & Ola....I was sitting looking out the screen about 10 PM & when Mom was brave enough to go out for a cool-off dip in the pool, I figured what the hay! I'll tag along with her! But she played a dirty trick on me....there I was sitting in the back corner looking longingly up at the top of the wall & the next thing I knew, she called me & headed for the door....I gotta tell you, I had to make a mad dash to get back inside right on her heels! Maybe manana it might be safer in the bright light of day! Mom's got one of those harness thingies like you're wearing & she has threatened to stuff my little body into it! we'll see..............
