Default Great Story By Baja Gringo!

I was searching the Web for a reminder about what is needed to move my cats to Baja, when I stumbled upon this excellent and inspiring story by none other than "our" Baja Gringo! It's titled "Settling In - Moving to Mexico."

http://http://www.expatexchange.com/lib_rd.cfm?articleid=3358&networkid=77

(Maybe everybody had seen it but me? )

When did you write this, BG?

JP: I thought that was (only) in China! Anyhow, do THESE cats look like "chicken" to you???!!! They eat Mexicans for breakfast.

Marty: I THINK they cited to Talkbaja.com (even if they didn't provide a link.)

I wasn't referring to a link or lack thereof; usually when someone is going to reprint material they quote a few snippets and provide a link to read the original.

Here's what Ron said:

I thought that meant they didn't even ask him before they reprinted the whole thing from where they obtained it.
Gringo Living in Baja California, Mexico
Baja Times - SINCE 1978 - English Language Newspaper of Baja California

Plus they gave the distinct impression that Ron himself both joined their site and contributed it himself.

Did I miscontrue your comment, Ron?

Yeah, I just looked again and was able to log in there. I checked my setup on the site and the websites are listed in my profile but I sure don't remember submitting a story. Maybe the site has all been revamped and I don't recognize it? Or I don't remember? Or I am getting old???

Is it happy hour yet???

I dont know for shure if they knowingly eat cats. I do rember reading a truck with dressed cat meat headed for a CHINESE RESTURANT IN TJ. WAS CONFLICATED. There is a large populace of people from all races in Mexico. To me thats one of the Appealing things about Ensenada, Being a seaport you can see the influnce of different races from all over the world . As far as Cats go the real danger for cats would be pack dogs.foxes, snakes and other varmits Punta Banda still has a iarge undeveloed area

It's not what they look like; it's how they taste. Maybe somewhat of an urban legend, but when one considers what the abject poor eat, nothing leftover. Hungry folks eat whatever is available.

Msterious, It looks like we share the same breed of kitty and I'm sure you can imagine that they're very "helpful" when it comes time to pack to move to Baja. In fact they just about pack themselves. Buena suerte

That's a great story BG, it inspires us that are still wishing they could move to Baja. That day will soon come! I hope.
