Nope!! Not just you, I mean. It was the coldest night here (La Paz) so far this fall. Weather Underground said 50 when I got up ~6:30. Good sleeping weather, for sure.

It was a mite chilly, (but I love cold) and now it is blowing like crazy. Hope Mike Younghusband has a down sleeping bag!

Obviously, at least 3 women in the La Paz area thought it was cold too, BG!
![]() Dusty's right.....it's been doing some serious blowing up here on the hill! If it's this cold & windy where Mike is, I'll bet Don-Kay & Solo are sharing his tent if not his sleeping bag! ![]() |

We finally got out the electric blanket day yesterday. We turn it on 30 minutes before hitting the sack and oh does that feel good getting in under the warm covers! The good news is that an electric blanket uses very little juice and I noticed zero difference in the battery bank charge this morning.
![]() I thought about Mike as well last night. Maybe he'll bring Don-Kay inside the tent to share some warmth... ![]() ![]() ![]()

I was damn sure we'd see some other wag posit the same after reading about how Mike wanted to "counter the bad news" and had spent time "bonding" with Don-Kay. Not even going to mention that picture.
![]() Solid proof right there if you ask me. |

Ron:
We ditched our electric blanket in favor of an electric heated mattress pad. On 10 minutes before bed, then turn off........we have the two Labs and a Wal-Mart rescue kitty on top. Sometimes it's too warm. Temps in Carson City, NV this morning.......4 degrees. |

No te alarmes, cha-cha; that's a Woody Allen comedy in case you missed it: An Armenian farmer comes in to a shrink telling of his love for Daisy the sheep; shrink steals her away.

Woke up yesterday to get ready to go to San Diego and wow there was frost on my garage roof.
Nights like that I welcome my little Boston Terrier foot warmer. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Luckily we don't get frost out here on our section of the beach. The ocean temperature hovering around 60 degrees keeps the air mass here warm enough that it doesn't get down into the 30's, although on the other side of the volcano in San Quintin it did freeze.
We do have one of those heated mattress pads Terry. I just call it an electric blanket out of habit I suppose. They do work great, don't they???
