The Army came through our little enclave about a month ago. glad to see them, waved there presence was important to me!!!!

Just seems to me that given the level of corruption in the local police, the army is the best alternative totally understanding the issues that exist.

I guess that at sometime, the powers that be in Mexico are going to make a Hobsen's choice with respect to the army that most likely does commit abuses of rights, or the local police, who will never, in our lifetimes, have any sort of affect on the cartels, inasmuch as they are way too busy lining their pockets. Not even going into the history of why those local constables need to be on the take.......
