Some of the stories about what happens to those migrants are truly horrifying.

Extortion calls to family; torture and murder for those who can't/won't pay...

So WOW(!!!); they were fired. How about tried/convicted/imprisoned for starters? Otherwise it's less than a slap on the wrist. Now they move on to other employment with their real bosses.

I believe that the ones who were fired were the bureacratic head cheeses of different regions for general poor management / oversight of their employees. The ones who actually committed the crime have not yet been identified / arrested.
