Hi, I'm 99% sure this will be non-controversial enough to post here. It's been bugging me for a long time that KUSI amputated Baja from their map. They're a San Diego TV station. A pic is at the link destination.

I finally created a petition to “Put it Back!,” because I care about the callous way the media have treated Baja.

I can't think of one San Diego media source that is worth a second look. I signed it but they are all worthless.
Voice of San Diego used to be a decent online news service but even they have whored themselves out.

So...you want to change that, which makes your efforts manipulative. Why don't you show us where KUSI lied about the news. That would get my attention. Unfortunatly, your efforts fall in the catagory of, "No news is good news" but that's not the way it is.
Why don't you go down to Mexico and tell the authorities to wipe out all of the crime. That would be a worthwhile effort.

It's their map. Who are you to be telling private enterprise what their logo should look like? Who in the eff are you? If you don't like it, change the channel.

Hmmmm. Never watched this UHF station, but theor roots are deep in the heart of Tejas. Any wonder about what they did?

Thanks Baja Gringo! We're almost to 50 signatures. They have some nice features at Change.org. I published a screen grab of the faulty map, and I post status updates. Obviously, this ain't ending world hunger, but if it gets enough traction, it will add to the dialog about big media and Baja.

The more you post / the more the forum members get to know, you the more room we give you. At first, right out of the gate...

Just wish to re-enter the the debate, by once again pointing out that the offending tv outlet is a small company based in Texas, and probably doesn't mattter a whit.

Since when did we start setting standards about what we can argue about???

Put all the little pieces together, and you'll find something greater than the parts, methinks.
