Post Mexican police find Cal congressman's 3 grandsons (AP)
AP - Mexican police have found the three grandchildren of a California congressman in the border city of Tijuana nearly four years after they were allegedly abducted by their mother.

Tijuana police say they located the 11-year-old boy and 9-year-old twin boys and arrested Jennifer Dejongh. Police identified the mother by her maiden name, Jennifer Lopez. The boys are the grandsons of Republican U.S. Rep. Gary Miller.

Police said in a statement Thursday that FBI and Los Angeles sheriff investigators helped locate Dejongh, wanted on a U.S. felony warrant. A U.S. man also was arrested in the Wednesday night operation.

Dejongh had joint legal custody with Miller's son Brian Miller. But there was an ongoing legal dispute.

All I know is that when I heard this story on the radio, they said they were found in Mexicali.

I heard on the radio they were found in Tijuana. The press report may have come out of Mexicali...

According to this article it says that she was picked up in the Otay Mesa area of Tijuana...

Cross-border collaboration led authorities to U.S. rep's grandsons

Tijuana’s police chief, Gustavo Huerta, announced the detention Wednesday night during a news conference at a substation. The couple were presented, but reporters were not allowed to ask questions.

An FBI statement said Lopez-Dejongh was detained in Mexicali, but Baja California authorities and Tijuana’s municipal police said they stopped her Wednesday on a street in Tijuana’s Mesa de Otay section along with her sons and husband, George Dejongh. Tijuana authorities said Lopez-Dejongh had a girl in her arms who they identified as the couple’s daughter.
