Copied and pasted from "Nomads".....from "sanquintinsince73"
San Quintin Baja Feb. 2012 This trip was extra special because my wife hadn't been to San Quintin in over 6 years. She work's for Hilton and it is difficult for her to take time off. The drive was uneventful as usual except for Louis and Leah fighting or arguing about anything, and then my wife wanting to stop everywhere to eat. We also had with us my wife's nephew from Sinaloa wanting to hear that "thump thump tuba" banda music (which I hate). I felt like Chevy Chase in the movie "Vacation". All's that was missing was someones dead grandma on the roof of my car. I met up with "ATEO" at Baja Jardines Friday night and staying in the room next door at "Don Eddies" was "SurfDoc". The only event that kinda soured my days were these two fellas in room 8 at "Don Eddies". My step-son, my wife's nephew, and myself were outside our room at around midnight hammering a few "gustos" and these two clowns come staggering back to their room and they proceeded to make racial innuendos, and looking at us and laughing. Now I'm a peaceful individual and a former Marine, but had I not been in the presence of my step-son, my wife's nephew, and my wife and little one's sleeping inside, I would have went over and "got some". As it turn's out, as they were going into their room one of them removed his shoes and placed them outside the door. I yelled over to him "Hey sweetheart, if you leave those shoes outside I'm gonna be wearing them in the morning and I don't think you're man enough to take them back". Needless to say he took his shoes inside and not a peep was heard from them again. So, here are a few of the photo's that I took as best I could. I have an awesome camera with a hundred different settings that I don't know how to use, nor do I care to know. Oh yeah, I stopped by Ron "BajaGringo's" place but he wasn't home so I took a couple shot's of his abalone operation.....friggin' impressive. http://s1215.photobucket.com/albums/...view=slideshow |
