Hello All,
I'm New2Baja. I will be making my move to Baja in June when I finish the school year. I will be working in San Diego so I will commuting back and forth. I don't have a place to live yet, but would like to start looking in the next few months. Any suggestions on neighborhoods that would make a daily commute to the states as easy as possible would be great.

So I got my Sentri Pass and I have my job lined up for late August. I'll be ready to make the move very soon. Still hoping someone could recommend some nice gated communities that will be close enough to the border to make my daily commute to San Diego tolorable.

You just can't decide that based solely on distance but rather in time. There are some nice rentals available in La Perla - a gated community in Playas de Tijuana as well as in Real del Mar, San Antonio del Mar and Baja Malibu - communities located south of Playas along the toll road but all relatively close to the San Ysidro Sentri line in terms of traffic time...
