BajaGoodLife is on a distinguished road

Default El Trompo

We did a family outing yesterday to the El Trompo science museum in TJ. Ages in the group were 5 - 70.

It's definitely geared toward kids and it's not a San Diego or DC jam-packed museum. But that said, we spent 5 hours there and did not spend as much time as we wanted. The kids were very entertained and learned stuff. My husband (he's the old guy in the group :-) ) had a blast with the scientific experiments. I like the bubble display (you could make these huge soap bubbles and actually encase someone in them) and the piano on the floor like from the movie "Big". They made it look easy in the movie, let me tell you - it is HARD. Chopsticks about killed me, but I did the beginning rift to Feur Elise okay.

My youngest grand-daughter wanted to spend the night at the museum, she liked it so much.

I think anytime you can make education that fun and interactive, it's a good thing. So big thumbs up for El Trompo.
