Sounds good, but this isn't the security of the Department of Defense professional security, or the even private security groups. The security for public officials for Majors, and Governers are suspect at the lease with many playing both side of the fence. How many Majors and security chiefs have been killed with so callled Mexican security, O and a General or 2. As bad of publicity that they have gotten in the US, U want security hire the old Blackwater Security firm from the US, they play dirty, bad and there isn't a Narco in Mexico that can play with these bad boys. There are a few in the US and other parts of the world that will come and make your problems go away. The biggest problem is can you afford them. Mexico could learn that the Us has several professsional combat veterans from several wars, and even some unknown conflicts. The Mexican Army does a good and also a suspect job, could you emagine some of those black ops running around in Chapos mountains? Just remember a dark night some parachutes and a dead Osama. there is no group in Mexico that can do that, not even the bad boy pictures that show the Mexican Special Forces, opps did I say Z.'s. Mexcico will not admit that they are at war, untill they do this it will go on. The Mexican Army isn't trained to deal with this, in fact not having a threat to Mexico as to other country's. I almost can't emagine the purpose of the Mexican Army. They are and trained in armed conflicts against the country, that is what Armys do, they are not trained in internal conflicts as drugs and political problems I guess the Mexican Army is to deal with, WHO, so lets make them professional police, train and equip them to fight inside of the country. There is no Country in the world that has a desire to fight and take over Mexico. I understand the Navy and the Marines they have a ligimate purpose in protecting the borders.

Even is the US where a College Degree is require and 20 to 30 months of training to be an entry level police officer, there is a little coruption
