We love Thai food, and are pretty particular about it. So very pleasantly surprised to find excellent Thai food in Ensenada.
"Twisted Noodle" in the Home Depot mall in S Ensenada is definitely worth the trip. We had red curry and the special 'volcano chicken.' The volcano chicken reminded me of a tandoori chicken, which is marinated and then cooked until crispy. It was a little dry, but there were some sauces available. The red curry was unbelievable. One of the best we've had anywhere. Next time we plan to bring more people and get the Tom Kha Gai (chicken coconut soup), pud thai and the curry again. The servings are pretty generous. That would be plenty of food for 4 people, unless one of them was my son. Entrees are $80 pesos - $100 pesos (more for a whole fish, etc) and they have Singha beer. The restaurant is done up like a So Cal bistro and staff is knowledgeable and helpful. We didn't speak English when we were there, but I suspect you'd be fine if you don't have much Spanish. |
