Claudio Rocha/Quiet Pictures Reportero, which debuted Monday night on POV on PBS, follows a veteran reporter and his colleagues at Zeta, a Tijuana-based independent newsweekly, "as they stubbornly ply their trade in one of the deadliest places in the world for members of the media." The Committee to Protect Journalists, Pulitzer Center, Human Rights Watch and the International Center for Journalists have urged support for the film. The entire film can be streamed online during February. PBS says the Bernardo Ruiz documentary is a co-production of Quiet Pictures, ITVS, and Latino Public Broadcasting with funding provided by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. It airs as a co-presentation with Latino Public Broadcasting. Watch the trailer below or stream the entire 55-minute film online until February 6. source
