All the Yelp reviews of the San Ysidro side of this operation are terrible. Is this company reliable lately for getting my email from San Diego to Ensenada?

Any other alternatives? Thanks much.

They pick up your mail in San Diego. I should have said mail, not email.

They've been there for a long time , but the last rumble of rumor about the business was that they were refusing to bring down packages...or VA meds which come in a distinctive silver bag...........something like that.
Check into it before making a commitment.

I should think packages are a different animal than general mail. The person crossing with packages is responsible for the content, even if unopened. That gets tricky on many levels.

I'm way at the south end of town, off Reforma south of Walmart. But Ensenada's not that big a town ... I don't mind driving to the north end. Any solution so I don't have to run to San Diego all the time.

There used to be...maybe still is...a mail business in the two [three???] story business center on the north West corner of 5th/ Juarez/Cortez [same street...different names] and Reforma intersection....across from the Limon shopping center with a Soriana's and large laundrymat.

There is a mail service/box rental place on Pedro Loyola just north of you (next to a small bakery on your left as you drive north). I'll try and find it tomorrow

I used the same service when i moved here several years ago. Even then they were what I thought were overly cautious about packages.
But agian you never know what way the border is going . We get our medications for 3mos. at a time, which we go up and pick up, some times it worries me you never know what they will determine is a prudent supply.

I know it's hard to belive, I have my car registered with my Baja adress and Ca. Mails my Tag to my residence here. It takes about 45 days from time mailed in Sacramento to here.
Thats if I renew on line.

I received mail from up north when we lived in the Rosarito Beach area. As I recall the average was about 3-4 weeks delivery for a letter to travel across the border from San Diego.

For comparison, 30 years ago when I lived in the foothills of the Andes in northern Argentina the same letter took 7-10 days typically.

Go figure...

i wonder how long it takes a letter to get from San Diego to Mexico City? Is mail delivery slow in Baja just because Baja is so remote?
