Default TV antenna

Anyone know if a good TV antenna can reach TV stations in San Diego? My house is on top of a hill in Punta Banda. Hill is about 400 feet above the Ocean.

I used to get all sorts of stations from the US with a big [17 footer] Radio Shack rooftop antenna down below you in lomas. Even had a constant signal from Santa Barbara.

Won't you be needing one of those digital convertors or whatever they are?

Thanks for the info Dennis I thought antennas would only be good for 80 to 90 miles based on the curvature of the earth. But heck if you was able to pick up those stations where you are maybe I can get Canadian stations where I am located.
Yes I think I will need a converter

I do not know how well the antenna would withstand the wicked wind on top of the mountain

Just interested in maybe seeing how many other stations I could pick up. I never had a TV with a large outdoor antenna before.

Go one step farther and hang your laundry on the fence to dry. The Cloud People will form an HOA right there on the spot.

Doc is high class in my book. There are others, a few, who I can be in the same room with without vomiting all over my shoes.....Tom B. and Dorrie G. come to mind......

Anyway.....I'll stop here. I don't want this neighborhood to think I'm getting soft.
