My name is Steve, and I am looking to move to Baja in October. I have a lot to do before then. I'm looking south of Ensenada where there are fewer people and fewer services -- will be staying in my trailer at first, until I get my workers lined up and get projects going. Eventually I will either have a pretty nice, modest, off-grid compound for me and my dogs, or I'll move on down the road.

I am pretty well accustomed to 'how things get done' in Latin America; I will actually be third generation Mexico expat, as my father lives in Sonora and my grandfather recently passed away in Ajijic. (At 95!) I've done projects in Central America and made a number of trips back and forth. So most of my questions are going to be about 1) Getting in, and 2) What stuff costs. Hoping to get some good insights. Thanks in advance for all your help.

There is a whole lot of territory South of Ensenada.... need more details.
