Default Garmin GPS in Baja?

I have a fairly recent Garmin GPS I sometimes use, it features maps of Baja but I don't know how much I should trust it, Do GPS's in general work OK in more remote areas of Baja, and has anyone used a Garmin down there?

I have Garmins in both of my vehicles. The 2011 Dodge Ram came built in and I have a "portable" in my Toyota. We use them all the time in Baja, great for general info. I can get street names in the cities/towns but have never tried putting in an address. Highways show up great. Used as far south as Guerrero Negro with no problems. In the remote areas of Hwy 1, it shows the ranchos and parcel (parcela) numbers.
