Default Loreto gets a 6.8 shaker this morning at 10:54am

A good sized quake for the area

Yeah, we were rocking and rolling for about 20 to 30 seconds.
No damage to our house though. Easier than a hurricane.

Earthquake? What earthquake? edinnopolo might have felt the earth move in Loreto, but I'm 4-5 hours south of him & neither my cactus nor I felt a thing!

All the cacti here did do well also, but a bunch of them blew down during the last storm,
together with a bunch of freshly planted trees.

But of course you hopped right to it & got all those flat trees back into an upright position.....right? You guys clearly got the brunt of the wind & rain that musta just been picking up speed when it passed La Paz!!

Tropical storm Raymond has formed & is well southeast of us, but is building like gangbusters, so be sure you replant those trees well!!

Putting those trees/cacti back upright is not my job. We leave that to the outfit hired by the Loreto Bay homeowner association, which in turn will bill the owners.

Too far south to worry about and heading into the open Pacific.
