Really? That is big news, esp. given the run on kidnappings lately. It may help restore some confidence in the judicial system but likely not enough to make a huge difference at this point. Kidnappers are getting busted all over Mexico; some were holding large groups of migrants from Central America. If there were no consequences for doing it, it would continue to escalate in frequency. The fear of executives being kidnapped is a huge obstacle and deterrent to economic growth as companies need to spend more to protect their employees in Mexico. Look at the damage done to Monterrey. jmho.
