Irlanda Valenzuela was a young, 13 year old girl when I first heard her voice a few years back and totally astounded me. This young talent from the state of Sonora was performing on a TV show here in Mexico called "Pequeños Gigantes"; a contest show for young kids wanting to make a name for themselves in the performing arts. That season from 2012 is making a rerun on Spanish Satellite Television and definitely worth watching again, just to see this amazing young girl perform.

Here she is on the show blowing away the judges (which included several professional performers) with the Spanish version of a Whitney Houston classic.
