Default Two of the three Banks in San Felipe are closed.

This follows the closing of all banks in Loreto last wekk:


MEXICALI, Baja California(PH) - En San Felipe dos de los tres bancos que existían en el puerto cerraron, el primero fue la sucursal de Bancomer a mediados de enero, y el 7 se fue Banamex.

Permanece activo sólo el Banco central Bancomer en la zona Centro sobre la calle Mar de Cortés, el cual cuenta con dos cajeros automáticos.

Raúl Rodríguez y Karina Rodríguez, ambos comerciantes de dos diferentes locales, comentaron que la fila para retirar dinero alcanza hasta media cuadra.

MEXICALI, Baja California - In San Felipe, two of the three banks which existed in the city closed, the first was the Bancomer branch in the middle of January, and on February 7 it was Banamex.

Only the Bancomer branch downtown on calle Mar de Cortés remains active, which has two ATMs.

Raúl Rodríguez y Karina Rodríguez, both business people from different locations, said that the line to withdraw money from the two ATMs reaches up to one-half block.
