Post Tropical Storm Nora forms in the Pacific Ocean (AP)


AP - Tropical Storm Nora has formed in the Pacific far off Mexico's coast and is not expected to threaten land.

The storm has maximum sustained winds near 40 mph (65 kph) and is expected to strengthen.

The storm is centered early Wednesday about 645 miles (1,040 kilometers) southwest of the southern tip of Mexico's Baja California peninsula. It's moving northwest near 8 mph (13 kph).
