Sure, we'll help. What needs to be done is fully triple-fence and close the border. They blame the USA for being drug consumers, but really don't want the supply lines closed. I'm tired of Mexico wanting Mexicans to be able to move north freely and then complain when drug money and guns come back down. The intercepted drug money headed back south into Mexico would nearly pay for the project itself- so long as it is caught on the USA side....

The drug problem is a political one for Mexico- since drug money runs the whole show. And once the party in power has the Army to fight for their financial supporters of choice- nothing good can result. That's what we are seeing- Cartels favored by the government using the military for cover. Only way to solve that is to dry up the money. Mexico doesn't have the ability to cleanse its ranks from the top down- it is just too poor and there is way too much money involved. Even if it could start the cleaning process- the legal system in place isn't set up to handle it- legal reforms are still four years away.
