Very enjoyable mixture of stills and video. It has a nice rhythm- the perspective moves along as if you're walking along the cliffside trails.

My Dad lived on Isla Mujeres for 5 years before returning to Guatemala. My husb and I, caught up in our own lives, never went to visit- couple of dummies that we are. It looks like you two get out and explore and appreciate your "new" home. Good job!

Thanks for the post, Tom. It reminds me of one of the sadder things on Isla. That crappy hotel on the North end, across the bridge. One of the most beautiful and unique places in the world, spoiled by greed. But, all in all , Isla is a place everyone should visit. It's Havana, Key West and Mexico, wrapped into one.

Spent some time there once upon a time....what a beautiful island. The hotel at the north end had just been RUINED by a hurricane the previous summer.
I jogged the circumferance of the island about every other day the time I was there and it was so cool to hit the seaward side and see the wildness and the distance.......
I am thinking I need a family trip there at some point if I can get away from Akumal and points south.

Haven't a clue WHY, but I've attempted to open this video 3-4 times & each & every time it TOTALLY crashes Firefox & closes all my Firefox sessions. This is the first time I've experienced this; it hasn't happened with any other video I've ever opened. Guess it goes without saying I won't be viewing this one! :frown:

Works fine for me - I have noticed that with some of the latest Firefox updates it is beginning to show signs of some of the problems I used to have with IE.
