Why doesn't the most recent post move the thread to the top of the page? Seems like this would be more efficient.

Yep. But you can click on "Last Post" at the top to sort it newest on top/bottom.
Should be newest on top like you're saying. For example, it looks like this forum comes up with a default sort of alphabetical by thread title. Click on "Last Post" and it becomes newest on top. There is a setting in our User Control Panels>>Edit Options>>Thread Display Options>>Thread Display Mode...but it sorts the posts within a thread that way; has nothing to do with the display order of threads within a forum, which is what we're talking about. Click Last Post and it'll sort the threads chronological/newest first until this is addressed. Last edited by Marty Cortez; 06-21-09 at 04:09 PM. |

When you start living by "Todays Posts," you'll never go back. It gives you the latest in all forums except Far Side.
