A project of mine that I'm going to try and move one step on ... a STILL !!!

Got the plans a number of years ago... but, have done nothing..

When the wife was driving us into Rosarito the other day, I was staring at really pretty "copper" work ... and the light bulb came on...

Not sure what the cost will be down here.... but, I'm going to be checking it out..

The plans come with a complete materials lists.. have not "priced" everything out recently ... but, the cost for the large "copper" was really high in the states... and the wife didn't want a "still" at the house in the States.. as would be the case, I would expect, from my neighbors.. they don't like chickens.. either.. and goats are out of the question too..

This still can produce a couple of hundred gallons per day.. storage next becomes an issue.. to placard or not to placard..

With your bad back (), are you planning to bottle the product or run a siphon to the bed?
For some of us, there really isn't any such thing as retirement, no matter what shape we are in, is there? Sounds like a neat idea, Good luck with it!

If I remember correctly, keep it in less than 55 gallon containers and you're exempt from placards, or was that that the limit for submitting a hazardous materials disclosure form? Isn't retirement great....I already forgot.

Yeah, me too.. and I'm not going to look it up...
