My name is Ron and I have lived in Baja for many years. The internet has allowed me to work from home with a front seat ocean view on this wonderful peninsula. I design websites, databases and online marketing solutions.

I am married to my lovely bride Cristina and we share our home here in Rosarito Beach with Dakota, our Yellow Lab and two neurotic Siamese cats. We are currently building a home down the coast in San Quintin and are planning to move in Summer 2009.

Nice job gringo - this board has a different look and feel to it. We are looking to be building down in Baja starting next year and hopefully can get some good info from this place.

Nice forum - look forward to it taking off. Has all the right elements in place to do so.

Thanks for the nice comments. Still tweaking it a bit behind the scenes to improve performance and security. Should be fully operational in a couple of days now and will begin to do some marketing to attract new members.

I really do appreciate all of you that have taken the time to come onboard early. It has been a big help to me in testing out the functions and database so when traffic picks up (hopefully) we shouldn't hit any major snags. That is always the big concern when running a forum like this...

You mean - we are the guinea pigs?

By the way - very nice post you made about the whole internet / forum troll thing. While reading through it I remember some of the trolls we came across on another forum and their tactics were very similar. Geez, do these guys go to troll school or something to learn all this stuff?

Just thought I'd stray off the path a little here;

I'm not sure how many of you have had the pleasure of meeting Ron.
I consider myself lucky to have had the opportunity.

This nice man went WAY out of his way to deliver parts to me in El Rosario and to help try diagnosing the problem with my truck.
He is amazingly worldly and knowledgeable, having lived in many wonderful locations.
He is extremely talented; as the creation of this board reflects.
He has the gift of gab; a pleasure to be around.
And he is a genuinely nice man.

And before you looney's get excited;
I am not Ron's brother or lover and although he is kinda cute, he's not my type (or sex), so don't throw that funny little emoticon at me, please.
