Default 2010 Rosarito-Ensenada 50 Mile Fun Bike Ride
I want to give a shout out to Geoff at BajaBound for dropping off two comp entries for last Saturday's fun ride. My nephew and his friend Leo would not have been able to afford the entry without his (and BajaBounds) generosity- that's more than a day's pay for them. They had a great ride and the family thought their "medallion on a ribbon" meant they won. Fat chance of that. Thanks again!

On a personal note, I have to say it was really a pleasure to meet Geoff. He delivered the tickets to our house and put up with my six dogs- one who took a while to warm up to him. This gesture meant so much to my nephew, Leo and us. Sure- I could have paid for their entries- but these two men now have seen how simply generous he was, and that reflected well on all us Americans. Leo's wife drove a "chase car" down to Ensenada to haul them both back and they made a whole day of it with their children. Very cool- and thanks again!
