Oh, what a tangled web. I read this story this am in the LA Times. Seems to me that Gonzales may have the high ground here. Who, in their right mind, would consider truth proffered by someone with a gun pointed at their head.

On the other hand.......

I suppose that it only makes sense that they launch an investigation since the accusation is out there. A gang who has been the focus of a zealous prosecutor that appears to be protecting their counterparts may indeed be outing the true story. Only an investigation will tell. Very sad if it turns out to be true - I hope it is not...
