I am having dificulty in hooking up to the Baja Nomad Forum! Is anybody else having that problem?

I just tried and it says database error. Doug is on the road I believe between La Paz and Bahia Concepcion so he probably doesn't have a clue...

Depending on who Doug is hosting with, they may reset the forum automatically. Check back later to see...

Same here... Database Error... I sent Doug an email, but like Ron said, he is on vacation in Baja and he is a one man operation... a true 'nomad'! I know Doug does check in at every opportunity if it something only he can fix and not an automatic reset from his server. I will email my web host as well and see if he can help.

I know he won't admit it but Ron sent a killer virus over there knowing Doug was on the road......

Just think how much dialog we can have over here today!

Nah, Doug is a good friend and in spite of hosting this place, I will always consider myself a Nomad...

Yeah....It's been down since early this morning. It could take a while [maybe not] since Doug is way down south. Not sure how much he can repair from his lap-top.

From what I can see, the config.php file is either missing or corrupted. We got hit by a hacker awhile back and it ends up looking a lot the same. That is why I always keep a backup set of system files on my laptop and another set stored online on another server just in case.

These things always seem to happen at the worst times...

Nomad board still down. I think it went to sleep because Doug has been away from it for a while.

I forgot that I registered on the talkbaja board. I need to check it out.

Let's all welcome The McFez!

I was having issues yesterday at the BN site, having posted those issues. Links were were jumping to incorrect address, screen was "blinking, and a host of other strange events.

Almost did look like a virus hit

Geeze...thought I got banned when I couldn't log in this a.m!
