Drugs and weapons discovered in Mexicali, Baja California Mexico over Holiday weekend

Mexicali, Mexico -- Baja California state police make a major drug and weapons bust in Mexicali over the holiday weekend.

The discovery was made Sunday morning in a home in an area known as "Los Laureles."

More than 500 pounds of drugs were found, including marijuana, cocaine and heroin.

Officers also discovered several assault rifles and more than 700 rounds of ammunition.

Police say the home was vacant at the time of the discovery and no arrests have been made.
